From New Jersey’s renowned Asbury Park rock scene, indie/alternative/punk band The Vansaders continue to gain momentum with an energetic and euphoric sound loved by fans of all stripes. Featuring Doug Zambon on vocals and guitar, Deaglan Howlett on vocals and guitar, Kyle Zupancic on bass and vocals, and Jay Maranzino on drums, the band drew upon influences including Social Distortion, Frank Turner, and Alkaline Trio to create an award-winning sound and a dedicated following. Since their start in 2014, The Vansaders have been relentlessly recording and touring, with four LP/EP releases (Stuck in NYC, Jumping at Shadows, This Time Around, No Matter What) and shows with the likes of Social Distortion, Frank Turner, Flogging Molly, Chuck Ragan, Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, Brian Fallon, Craig Finn, Ted Leo, Jesse Malin, and The Front Bottoms.
In 2017, the band released their latest EP, No Matter What, which features “euphoric, energetic music that gets your blood pumping,” (Speak Into My Good Eye). That year, The Vansaders also clinched Asbury Music Awards’ Top Punk/Rock Band award, and No Matter What was included in New Jersey Music’s 17 Best Albums of 2017 (NJ.com) and New Jersey’s Best Indie Records of 2017 (NJarts.net).
Currently, the band continues to tour across the region and is hard at work on an acoustic LP with Pete Steinkopf of The Bouncing Souls.
